At Pax Via Tours & Travel, we understand that unexpected circumstances can sometimes affect your travel plans. Because significant arrangements are made well in advance with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and local partners, cancellation fees are necessary to cover non-recoverable expenses.
We strongly recommend that every traveler purchase travel protection insurance to help protect their investment against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, travel delays, lost baggage, and other covered events. Travel insurance can be purchased through your preferred provider or directly through our website.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space on a pilgrimage. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of your trip but is non-refundable if you cancel.
Once airline tickets have been issued—including any upgrades or seat purchases—they are subject to the airline's fare rules and are generally 100% non-refundable.
90 days or more before departure: Refund of 75% of the total pilgrimage price, less the non-refundable deposit.
89–60 days before departure: Refund of 50% of the total pilgrimage price, less the non-refundable deposit.
59–35 days before departure: Refund of 25% of the total pilgrimage price, less the non-refundable deposit.
34 days or fewer before departure: No refund can be issued due to contractual obligations and prepaid travel arrangements.
Cancellation fees are calculated based on the total pilgrimage price, not the amount paid at the time of cancellation. If the payments received do not cover the applicable cancellation charges, the traveler remains responsible for the outstanding balance.
Pax Via Tours & Travel reserves the right to cancel any reservation for non-payment according to the published payment schedule. If a reservation is cancelled due to non-payment, standard cancellation penalties may still apply.
